My favourite track from Gemini's monstrous new EP, Graduation, which is available on Beatport NOW. One of the most talented Dubstep producers around, and this EP doesn't disappoint in any way, shape or form. Filthy.
Here is the official video for the uplifting lead single from Nneka's upcoming third studio album, Soul Is Heavy. Spotted over @SoulCulture, "the video was filmed in Nigeria and tells a story of the struggles our brothers and sisters are facing in certain parts of Africa and brings them right to the forefront". An uplifting single from a very talented singer/songwriter - release date to follow soon.
Some really clean and cool visuals for the lead single from Eric Roberson's latest album, Mister Nice Guy. Europeans can get their copy HERE, and for the Americans who are still waiting, you can check out two of my favourite tracks HERE. Nothing but love for both of these guys.
Last night on Jools Holland, Emeli Sandé took to the floor and blessed us all with this stunning performance of the lead single from her forthcoming debut album, Our Version Of Events. You can pre-order the album HERE and follow Emeli on Twitter HERE. I seriously can't speak highly enough of this lady, she is incredible.
Following her MOBO nomination and a busy summer lighting up packed out festivals, Yasmin is back with her Ms Dynamite featuring and Shy FX produced third single. Set to be released in November, Light Up The World is a Drum & Bass influenced piece of soulful laid back Reggae, and is without doubt my favourite of the three singles thus far. Listen below, and be sure to support when it drops.
Possibly the most freestyled-over track of all-time gets the once over courtesy of girl group RD - something a little different, and I like it. They remind me of a British/modern day Blaque. You can pre-order their new single HERE.
Skream keeps spoiling us with these free downloads, and it says a lot about the amount of talent he has at his disposal if he can give away tracks of such a high quality. Severe break your neck stuff.
Following on from his forthcoming sell-out November/December tour this year, Example is set to embark on his first ever arena tour in 2012. Originally it was only going to be reaching Aberdeen, Nottingham, London, Manchester & Bournemouth, but due to popular demand another five dates have been added (hit the jump to see all new dates). Tickets for the original five dates are on sale HERE, and the pre-sale tickets for the five new dates are on sale HERE, with general sale opening @ 9am on Friday 23rd September. Don't miss out, they're selling like hot cakes...
One of the stronger tracks from Scroobius Pip's sophmore solo album, Distraction Pieces, which is currently sitting pretty in the top 10 on iTunes. I have always sung the praises of his debut solo album, No Commercial Breaks, and this will be no different - I've never been a huge fan of Dan Le Sac's production and feel as though both of Pip's solo albums are a lot less preachy and much more well rounded projects than the two albums with DLS. Granted it's not the best album in the world, or an easy listen if you're not a Scroob fan, but it's a definite must listen, even if it's just for the witty social commentary on extremely relevant subject matters. Get your copy HERE.
My favourite piece of music from Zeo Zeonardo's new FreEp, Sink Or Swim - a very cleverly structured track from a very unique and talented MC. Head over to his SoundCloud with an open mind, download the EP, and follow him on Twitter HERE.
