Pete Tong brought listeners yet another world premier last night with a brand new track from 17 year old French producer Madeon. The track, a follow up to his debut single 'Icarus' which peaked at 22 in the chart, is yet further evidence that this young French producer is in no way letting his age hold him back and makes me even more excited to see him live at Park Life next weekend. After weeks of hype, Martin Solveig's latest EP 'The Night Out' has finally been launched in the US. Featuring 10 tracks in total, the EP includes 4 original tracks, 5 remixes of the lead track and 1 additional remix of Solveig's most memorable hit to date 'Hello'. While the progressive Madeon remix of 'The Night Out' which has already been featured on this blog is unarguably brilliant, my personal favourite track off the EP has to be the Martin Solveig vs. A-Trak remix which seems to achieve the rare perfect balance between club anthem and commerical hit. First coming to my attention with his incredible remix of Skrillex's "Right In", 16 year-old producer Insan3lik3 yesterday dropped this euphoric little collaboration with Throttle on his Soundcloud, forthcoming on Monstercat. Clever use of vocal samples and some pop-inflected synths and wobbles to boot make this one a definite for any summer playlist.

Given its world premiere on Pete Tong's show on Friday night, here is 17 year old Madeon's massive remix of the new single from fellow French producer Martin Solveig. Blows the mind to think that this kid isn't even 18 yet, when the level of production and the structure of his tracks/remixes sound so mature.

Madeon, the 17 year old French Pop/House producer who first came to attention in 2011 after his incredible Pop Culture Mashup created entirely using a Novation Launch Pad went viral on YouTube, today released his brand new track Icarus on Beatport. With an infectious beat and original electro house feel the track is sure to be received well and seems just another example of the potential that can come from a teenager with a passion for music, a laptop and little else.
