I was lucky enough to catch George Ezra perform in Bristol last night and as his support act he brought along 17-year-old Irish singer-songwriter Soak. I'll be honest and say I hadn't heard of Soak before the gig, which is maybe why her performance left me all the more more impressed. Check out the lead track from her forthcoming debut EP via the player below, something tells me you'll be hearing a lot more of her very soon.

Dropped yesterday, Coldplay continue to push the boundaries of their sound as they unveil the first single from their highly anticipated and as-yet-untitled sixth full length studio album, scheduled for release later this year. 'Midnight' sees the band once again team up with producer Jon Hopkins and proves Coldplay are unafraid to continue to forge a new musical direction, as they expeirment with a variety of synth based melodies in the absence of the kind of trademark climax their music is so famous for. Job well done.

Uploaded to the Interwebz this morning, here is the official video for the lead single from Example's upcoming fourth studio, which is set to be released later this year. The video, directed by Jon Jon Augustavo, sees a group of youngsters running around causing mischief in Miami, just as they did when they were kids. A great video for an anthemic song, which is available to pre-order HERE.
