Seye - Heaven (Emeli Sandé Cover)

After supporting Scottish songstress Emeli Sande on her UK tour, singer/songwriter Seye today released this incredible cover of her smash hit "Heaven". Utilising only a guitar and his sensational vocals, he manages to transform this percussive-led belter into a much more intimate affair, an interesting and diverse take on this future classic. Love this, can't imagine this is the last we'll hear of this guy.

Rameses B - Open Your Eyes (Feat. Rachel Hirons)

Forthcoming on Liquicity on April 16th, here's a preview of the second track from Leeds-hailing producer Rameses B's Lost In Eyes EP, entitled "Open Your Eyes". It's a euphoric and uplifting piece of drum and bass and the addition of that vocal tops it all off, really. Pretty sure I've loved everything this guy's put out, supremely talented.

American band sue One Direction over same name

Today it has been revealed that One Direction are being sued by a US boyband claiming they owned the name first, according to reports. The American group - who are also a five-piece - is demanding a court order to force Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson to change the name of their band. In legal papers, the Americans claim they formed in 2009, before the X-Factor boys had even met.

Rihanna - Where Have You Been (Vice Remix)

Not a fan of Rihanna, but have always been a big supporter of young Electro producer Vice, and the way he has flipped Ri-Ri's new single on its head and turned it into a dancefloor smash is nothing short of spectacular.

The Stepkids - Suburban Dream (Remix) (Feat. Pharoahe Monch & Homeboy Sandman)

After releasing their self-titled debut album last September, Stones-Throw trio The Stepkids return in 2012 with a remix of my favourite track from their album, featuring verses from Homeboy Sandman and the legendary Pharoahe Monch. Doper than dope.

Odd Future on Newsnight

Last night Stephen Smith caught up with Odd Future for Newsnight to bring one of the most ignorant news pieces on Hip-Hop/Rap I have ever seen to the BBC. The "they've hardly sold any records" is a simply shocking example of news reporting - Steve alone sold 40,000 copies in his first week and 'Goblin' has nearly sold a million copies worldwide. Awful, just awful.

Modestep - Show Me A Sign (Camo & Krooked Remix)

Austrian duo Camo & Krooked add a bit of Drumstep flavour to the new single from Modestep, which is set to be released April 29th. The original is cool, but this remix takes the track to a whole new level and shows why the Hospital signees are one of the most well respected acts in Drum & Bass. BIG!
