The Crystal Method - Play For Real (Feat. The Heavy) (Dirtyphonics Remix)

Dirtyphonics are back with a monstrous remix of The Crystal Methods' new single, which will be available mid-September on the Play For Real EP. These guys have such a unique sound and execute the Dubstep/Drum & Bass crossover better than anyone else. Would be nice to hear a studio album at some point in the near future, because their remixes in 2011 have been nothing short of spectacular.

Dubstep 101 catches up with Sub Focus on his US tour before the gig @ Masquerade in Atlanta. They talk about some of his early influences, equipment that he uses in the studio/live and what new releases we can come to expect over the next few months. Raekwon & Ghostface x BlackStar - Live @ Rock The Bells

Side of the stage footage of Raekwon & Ghostface tearing up Govenor’s Island on the New York leg of the legendary Rock The Bells festival/tour. Seriously need to get myself to one of these in the next couple of years. Footage of a very sick BlackStar performance after the jump too.

Real Scenes: Berlin

Real Scenes: Berlin from Resident Advisor on Vimeo.

For the third edition of Real Scenes, Resident Advisor and Bench go to one of the most special places for electronic music in the world: Berlin. When the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, techno became the underground soundtrack to the reunion between East and West. In recent years, it's become an international destination for ravers - a cheap place to party with clubs that are renowned throughout the world. Techno has become a business in the meantime, yet Berlin still maintains a credibility that other cities lack. To understand why, RA and Bench went to the German capital eager to find out about its unique history and the reasons behind its continued relevance. Visit the feature page on Resident Advisor. Sick mini-documentary.

Professor Green - Read All About (Feat. Emeli Sandé)

Premiered tonight as Mistajam's Jam Hot, here is the incredible lead single from Professor Green's upcoming sophmore album, At Your Inconvenience. The title track that he let go a few weeks ago was big, but this is really special and sees Green at his most honest and lyrical best - Emeli was the perfect choice of feature too, her voice evokes so much emotion and perfectly compliments Pro's deepest lyrics to date. If this is anything to go by, then At Your Inconvenience is going to be a huge problem. Read All About It is out October 31st - pre-order NOW!

Rizzle Kicks - When I Was A Youngster

YEYAAAHHH! Premiered on Radio 1 earlier today, here is the second single from Rizzle Kicks' forthcoming debut album, Stereo Typical, which you can now pre-order over at HMV. I liked Down With The Trumpets, absolutely love this and have some stuff in my iTunes that makes me very excited for what these two have to offer over the next 12 months. Some people don't seem to 'get them', but I don't think there's much to get - they are two very talented brothers who make incredibly fun and catchy reggae infused Hip-Hop. They are cool, unique and have created a sound like nothing I've ever heard before - I like that. Update: peep the official video HERE.

"Back when I was younger, I wanted to be everything on the planet. Now that I am older, it seems the ambition has vanished!"
