Amy Winehouse - F**k Me Pumps (MJ Cole Remix)

Yesterday we found out that Amy Winehouse had been found dead at her house in London. As I said on Twitter, it is shocking, but not surprising news, as you can only do so much for someone who doesn't want to help themselves. It is still a very sad loss for music - as a tribute, here is MJ Cole's smashing remix of my favourite Amy track. Rest In Peace, and all my best to the family.

Anthony Hamilton - You

Some unreleased music from Mr. Hamilton, produced by Jack Splash, which nobody seems to know when it's from or what it's for. Either way, it's amazing, and it hopefully means a new album is on the way. 2-Step.

Roy Ayers Project: Who Is Roy Ayers? (Trailer)

Trailer for the upcoming film/documentary about one of the all-time great recording artists. As is rightly stated in this trailer, Roy is one of the forerunners of the marriage between Jazz and Hip-Hop - if you don't know about Roy, then you need to get to know. Can't wait for this one.

Joss Stone - Drive All Night

Joss Stone has been in the news recently for an incident that was somewhat bizarre and disturbing to hear, but now she's going to be in the news for all the right reasons, as her fifth studio album is set to be released next week. Personally, the album isn't for me, but this song is pretty incredible. Pre-order your copy HERE.

Ben Westbeech - FREE Album Launch Gig

Next Thursday (28th July), The Loft on Kingsland Road plays host to Ben Westbeech's launch party for the upcoming album, There's More To Life Than This. The gig is free, so if you're in and around London then there is no excuse for you not to pay a visit between 7pm-Midnight and listen to one of my favourite albums of the year so far. You can download the flyer for the event HERE and read my review of the album HERE. Gutted I can't make it down; however, you will be able to catch the event on the Boiler Room if you're in the same situation as me.

Styles P - I Get High (Feat. Method Man & Redman) (Geteye Remix) x MED - Where I'm From (Feat. Aloe Blacc) (Oteest Remix)

My two favourite joints from a very sick remix tape courtesy of French beatmakers Geteye & Oteest. You can download from their Bandcamp, or HERE if it's still being gay.

KanYe West & Jay-Z - Otis (Feat. Otis Redding)

Pusha T - Trouble On My Mind (Feat. Tyler, The Creator)

A sick video for one of my favourite Hip-Hop tracks of 2011. Why couldn't Tyler have done more stuff like this on his album? Goblin hasn't been played since the day I was sent it. Anyway, Fear Of God 2: Let Us Pray is the way. Push.
