Ed Sheeran - War Child Gig (w/ Damon Albarn & Graham Coxon) (February 19th)

February 19th sees the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire welcome Ed Sheeran to perform in aid of the War Child Charity. The pre-sale of 300 tickets will go on sale at 9am tomorrow HERE, with general sale going up at 9am on Saturday 4th February. Ed will be joined on stage by special guests Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon & Dry The River, so if you want to be at this special one off event, then I suggest you get up early and be at your laptop before 9am, as you know what happened with his recently sold out Autumn tour.

Angel - Go In, Go Hard (Feat. Wretch 32) (Video)

Following the release of his new mixtape earlier in the week, Angel has dropped off some visuals for this Wretch 32-featuring track from his debut EP, 7 Minutes Before Time. Although it's been available for some time on iTunes, 'Go In, Go Hard' is being prepped to be the young singer/songwriter's official debut single, and will be available on March 11th. Video is nothing special, but it's a big tune and hopefully this is the start of a long and illustrious career for this guy.

J Dilla & Common - Rare Pictures from LWFC Studio Time

WOWEE! What a way to kick off Dilla month - the guys over at Doctors Orders have come through with some incredibly rare pictures of Jay Dee & Common working together in the studio on Like Water For Chocolate, which is my favourite Hip-Hop album of all time. The photos were found whilst Pete from BBE records (pictured alongside Dilla below) was moving house. This is Dilla’s first home studio in Detroit and in the pic up top you can see Common sitting with his back to camera. If you love Dilla, be sure to represent at the 'J-Dilla Changed My Life' fundraisers in London, Manchester & Brighton this weekend - I'll be at the Manchester gig. Mikill Pane - Learning To Swim x Fairytale (Live @ Maida Vale)

Mikill Pane dropped into the Radio 1 studios last night to have a little chat with Huw Stephens and play two tracks from his brilliant Maida Vale session, which was recorded a few weeks ago with a full band. Huw has been a huge supporter of the London-born wordsmith ever since he was introduced to his music last year, and this session will give Mr. Pane the opportunity to reach out to a whole new audience and prove why he is seen by many as the most exciting lyricist in the UK right now. Glade Electronic Arts Festival (June 14th-17th 2012)

Glade Festival, one of the UK's most diverse and well put together Electronic music events, are back again and have today released the first batch of artists that will be blessing their Norfolk-based site in June. Set in the depths of the English countryside, this relatively small festival has already drafted in some HUGE names, including Sven Vath, Andy C, Rusko, Vitalic, Toddla T, Foreign Beggars, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Extrawelt and many more.
