Mick Jenkins is the real deal for sure. Hip-Hop needs this.

Burna Boy - On Form

One of Nigeria's biggest stars, Burna Boy has returned with a new album entitled 'I Told Them...'. The album features a star-studded line-up, including Dave, 21 Savage, J. Cole and two Wu-Tang legends, but it was this song that really caught my attention. Everything is really on form... his unique flow, the percussion, that bubbling bassline, it all works perfectly together and makes for one of the most infectious tunes we've heard for a while.

Sampha - Only (Official Music Video)

Stunning new single from one of the most talented artists of our generation. We've been posting about Sampha on The House of Coxhead since around 2011, and to see his journey from then-to-now has been quite remarkable. His long overdue debut album dropped back in 2017 and already feels like a classic, and it's safe to say we can't wait to hear what he's going to follow it up with next month... if this is anything to go by, it's going to very special. Love the video, too.

Glastonbury 2023 - Emerging Talent Competition

I’m very proud to announce that I will be a judge on Glastonbury’s 2023 Emerging Talent Competition. 

For my whole life, I’ve been super passionate about discovering and shouting about exciting new artists that I love. To be asked back to do this (for the best festival in the world), for the 9th year in a row, is very humbling and something that makes me very happy… especially being placed alongside some of the UK’s very best blogs and music writers.
